Chinese Marinade for Pork By Pig on a Spit - Jun 21, 2008 |

Nice Chinese style marinade for cooking stir fried pork dishes.
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon granulated or soft brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons (4 1/2 teaspoons) light soy sauce
1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine or dry sherry
1/2 spring onion (scallion, green onion) washed, drained and cut into 1-inch lengths
1 teaspoon cornstarch.
Cooking Directions:
Cut the pork into 1 to 1 1/2 inch cubes. Add the marinade ingredients, adding the cornstarch last.
Marinate the pork cubes for 15 minutes before stir-frying
