Recipe for making Nuernberger Rostbratwurst Pork Sausages that is not too complicated.
Ingredients:
1/4 t nutmeg
1/2 t marjoram
salt
500 g medium lean pork.
150 g veal
1/4 t finely Chopped caraway seed.
natural sausage casing.
Directions for making Nuernberger Rostbratwurst Pork Sausage:
Coarsely chop the pork and veal on a cutting board.
Combine with caraway seed, nutmeg, marjoram and salt.
Fill into cleaned sausage casing and twist casing to form a sausage about every 3".
Brown sausages over charcoal.
Eat with sauerkraut and country style rye bread.
Makes 6 Servings
